INTRODUCTION

Varkala is a town in the south Indian state of Kerala. It’s on the Arabian Sea and known for Varkala Beach, backed by palm-covered red cliffs. Just south, Papanasam Beach is believed to have holy waters. On a nearby hill, the ancient Janardhana Swamy Temple is a Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Vishnu. How to Reach Varkala Beach:
1. By Road:
Varkala has a good connectivity with Trivandrum and Kollam. Buses are always available from Trivandrum to Varkala. Private vehicles are also available to Varkala.
 
2. By Train:
 
Varkala has its own Railway Station.Only a few trains have stop at Varkaka. You can either go to Kollam Railway or Trivandrum Central Railway Station.

The best time to visit Varkala is during summer and winter season. You can enjoy the beauty of Varkala and can perform different beach  activities if you are visiting Varkala at this time.
